ABOUT YUKARI
Highly experienced Japanese voice-over artist who has worked in the UK and Japan.
Having worked as a TV / Radio presenter, voiceover artist, news reader and an Emcee for numerous public events for 13 years in Japan, Yukari gained more experience for another 13 years in London.
She has been a regular narrator for a series of documentaries for 6 years produced by NHK, Japan's public broadcaster. She has done voiceover for BBC World News promo for 10 years.
Her other clients for commercials and promos include Unilever Japan (Dove), British Airways, KIRIN, Netflix, Specsavers, NHK World Japan ('Easy Japanese') and more.
She has experienced across voiceover genres such as cooperate, e-learning, audio guide audiobook, character voices. She has done voiceover for many major brands.
She loves plants & gardening and has done live TV presenting from London to Japan for NHK, introducing beautiful winter gardens in the UK. Besides, she has worked for a well-known Japanese landscape architect, Mr Kazuyuki Ishihara as his gardener and an interpreter at the RHS Chelsea Flower show held in London.
She obtained Gateway Qualifications in Level 3 `Diploma in Garden Design' in the UK.
Connecting with the world through her professional home studio, she is expanding her career as a voiceover artist while working as a bilingual emcee.

Gardening・Visiting Gardens／British Baking／Singing
I visited many public and praivate gardens in the UK. It's interesting to see how a garden, buildings, its environment, planting and hard landscape design are related. Looking a garden with a cup of white tea and a slice of cake or a scone is my happy time.
Also, a cup of tea in the breaktime of gardening is so lovely.
My handmade scones and Victoria Sponge Cake are nice, as well.😍
I love singing! I have been a vocalist for my band, one of contestants of TV singing competition, a guest singer for local events and a member of a chorus group called Rock Choir, who sings with choreography, in the UK.
My highest singing score judged by Japanese Karaoke Machine is 97/100.
My VOICE is the centre of my Life!😊
